Dear Balder Partners:

We are excited to announce that SureWerx has acquired the Jackson Safety®, Balder®, and WILSON® Safety brands from Kimberly-Clark Professional. Per the accompanying press release the acquisition encompasses the brands themselves, and specific product portfolios within those brands including: head, face, hearing, respiratory protection, welding helmets, welding barriers, and powered air purifying respirators. Kimberly-Clark Professional has retained the eye protection and glove product portfolios and they are working toward a rebrand on those products.

In order to make this transition as efficient as possible, and to minimize any disruptions to you or your customers, we are implementing a phased integration plan as follows:

Phase One:
Business as usual for current Kimberly-Clark Professional and Balder customers. Please continue to place orders with Kimberly-Clark Professional, or if you are a Balder customer, with Balder just as you have done in the past. KCP/Balder will continue to manage all facets of order processing, billing, shipping, and accounts receivable. During this phase, SureWerx and KCP will be working diligently to transfer all product and customer data to our ERP system. In addition, SureWerx will work with you, our customers to set up accounts in anticipation of a full handover.

Phase Two:

Handover is complete and SureWerx manages all facets of the business. All operations including sales, customer service, order processing, and accounts receivable will be administered through the SureWerx Balder facility in Slovenia. The exception will be order fulfillment and shipping. This function will be managed by the same 3PL (third party logistics) provider that Kimberly-Clark Professional uses currently for the Jackson products, based in the Netherlands.

Europe is a new market for SureWerx and we are extremely excited to begin the journey of driving worker safety and productively with our own team now physically located in Europe. We will keep you informed as to our longer-term warehousing and order fulfillment strategy once we complete a review of best choices to enhance the service and product portfolio options for our European, Middle Eastern and African customers. Stay tuned!

Best Regards,

Chris Baby
